In this video, get an overview of omnichannel capabilities for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Customer Service. Dynamics 365 for Customer Service introduces new channels and rich omnichannel experiences to offer customers personalized support and empower agents to interact seamlessly with customers in real-time. This is through Chat for Dynamics 365, asynchronously with SMS, or AI-assisted service with your own bot built on the Microsoft Bot Framework in the new Customer Service omnichannel experience.

The Dynamics 365 and Power Platform release plan for the 2021 release wave one describes all new features releasing from April 2021 through September 2021.

Key dates for the 2021 release wave one
This release plan describes functionality that may not have been released yet. Delivery timelines and projected functionality may change or may not ship (see Microsoft policy).

Early access available February 1, 2021
Test and validate new features and capabilities that will be a part of the 2021 release wave one, coming in April, before they get enabled automatically for your users. You can view the Dynamics 365 2021 release wave one early access features now.

General availability April 1, 2021
Production deployment for the 2021 release wave one begins. Regional deployments will start on April 2, 2021.

Microsoft have continued to evolve the scheduling board since it was first introduce in the Field Service area of the system. Scheduling your resources whether, they are people, equipment or locations, can be handled easily and visually with the Dynamics Resource Scheduling app. This is now designed to work with your custom tables, so you can schedule custom resources that specifically meet your business needs. This video shows a quick outline of the system and how it works.
